My Gluten Free Me (MGFM) allows you to quickly type in an ingredient name and compare it to your own personalized list of over 250 gluten ingredients, and over 600 additional food allergen ingredients. MGFM can be set-up to track just one user, or multiple individuals with Celiac Disease, gluten intolerance, or those who choose to live a gluten free lifestyle.

How it works:

After setting up your or your families dietary restrictions, searching ingredients is easy! Instead of scanning packages, relying on incomplete product listing services, or using crowd-sourced or out of date information, MGFM allows you to simply type in the name of any questionable food ingredient that may contain gluten or other food allergens. As you type, a list appears alerting you of any conflicting gluten ingredients or allergens for you or your family.

My Gluten Free Me allows you to easily search in one of the following three formats:

Ingredient Search – As you enter the name of an ingredient, a list will appear showing you if there is gluten or any other conflicting allergen matching that ingredient name. As you enter more letters, the list will be narrowed down to match the specific letters in the search box. If you see a match, you can tap on the ingredient containing gluten or the allergen name in the list to see which members cannot have that specific ingredient. A symbol showing what category that ingredient conflicts with will appear.

Family Search – As you enter the name of an ingredient, a list of every member of the family that has gluten intolerance or allergens that match the letters you have typed will appear. The letters that match the characters you have typed will be highlighted in bold. As you type more letters, the number of items containing gluten or other allergens will be narrowed down to help you find exactly what you are looking for.

Alphabetical Search – While in the set-up screen, you can tap on the number listed to the right of an

individual’s name to see an alphabetical list of all the items containing gluten and other allergens that

you have selected.

My Gluten Free Me is great for parents, spouses, grandparents, caregivers, or anyone who buys or

prepares food for those who have a gluten intolerance or food allergy. Not only does MGFM give you immediate information on the food you are considering, but it works as a teaching tool to train you and others about specific ingredients. If you are new to living gluten free or have multiple allergies, this app is a must!

One of the unique aspects of MGFM is the ability to sync your family’s database across multiple platforms including Android, iPhone, iPod, iPad, and others. This feature makes it easy for you to share the

information with spouses, family members, grandparents, or anyone else that buys or prepares food for family members with specific dietary requirements. They can purchase their own copy on their personal device and sync with your information, allowing them to make better decisions when serving food to you or your family members!
