Calculate an estimate of your Horse's weight using a few simple measures. The calculations are different for differently aged horses. Simply enter the horse date of birth, three other measures and we will do the rest for you.

This application will assist you to get 90 - 95 % accurate estimate of your horses weight.

You can estimate the weight of weanlings, yearlings or horses older than one year old.

We have also included a handy calculator to convert inches or cm to height in hands.

We have found it useful to determine:

-The amount of feed to provide our horses

-Whether the horse float is within towing limits

-How much dewormer to give our horses

Basically any other situations where a weight estimate is good enough to make a decision.

IMPORTANT: The application returns an estimated value which should be 90-95% accurate. The results are not accurate for foal, pregnant mares, miniature horses or very tall horses.
