Today, Ocean Monitoring and Forecasting is a reality.

Discover the first MyOcean smartphone application displaying Ocean forecasts daily updated for 3 parameters (TEMPERATURE, SALINITY and CURRENT), for 3 depth levels, from Day 1 up to Day+5.

The Multimedia corner enables you to watch videos and to browse through images all based on MyOcean numerical models. Discover also some of the Ocean’s amazing features (during El Niño for instance) and animate them simply by touching the screen.

MyOcean is a unique service providing open and free access to OCEAN ANALYSIS AND FORECAST based on the combination of satellite and in situ observations, and their assimilation in 3D MODELS (past, real time and near future information for Global Ocean and European seas).The next application release will be enriched with 3D views and more data on European Regional Seas. MyOcean is an EU funded R&D project (FP7) which fits into the European Earth monitoring programme GMES.
