The MyTears app helps patients who have been prescribed RESTASIS® (Cyclosporine Ophthalmic Emulsion) 0.05% get the most out of their treatment with medication reminders, personalized progress reports, and motivational tips every step of the way. With the MyTears app, patients are never alone on their journey to increased tear production!KEY FEATURES• Customizable reminders for twice-daily dosing, eye doctor visits, and prescription refills• Educational videos and information about RESTASIS® and Chronic Dry Eye to help patients understand their disease and the importance of giving RESTASIS® time to work. Patients are supported each month with messages of encouragement and treatment tips to encourage continuous use• Progress reports that help visualize the treatment journey. With regular use of the app and RESTASIS®, twice a day, every day, the app will display how often patients use artificial tears, how patients believe their Dry Eye has changed, and more. Reports are easy to create, save, and share with eye doctors• Integration with My Tears, My Rewards® (MTMR), Allergan’s free program that provides ongoing counseling and potential co-pay savings for eligible patients. To help avoid eye injury and contamination, do not touch the vial tip to your eye or other surfaces. RESTASIS® should not be used while wearing contact lenses. If contact lenses are worn, they should be removed prior to the use.The most common side effect is a temporary burning sensation.
