This is a BETA version of NEATSpots. By no means does this represent the final product. There WILL be bugs and missing functionalities. Please report any bugs if you happen to find any.

This is my first ever Android Application that I am building for my final year project. It is an application to find the nearest longboarding/skate spots to you. You can add new spots after you have registered, which can be done inside the app.

Note: I've noticed that a number of people with a Nexus phone cannot navigate around the application because of the lack of a menu button. If you have a Nexus and it doesn't work still let me know. It would be good to get a number of how many people that this is affecting. I will try and change this over the summer after my dissertation is finished =)

Features:

- Obtain nearest locations within a certain radius which you can change

- Search for nearest locations based on where you've pressed on the map. You have to touch location for 1 second to initiate this as opposed to tapping the screen

- Add new spots based on current location. This is to add another layer to prevent fake spots being added. Also, you must be logged in to do this.

- Registering and signing in functionalities. To register, press the login button and then you'll see a link below the login form which directs you to register. I'll create a button for register when I get around to it to make it more user friendly

Future goals:

- Integrate Facebook signin

- Rate spots

- Add comments on spots

- Upload videos and images for spots
