One of the most exciting trends in e-ticketing for public transportation is mobile ticketing based on NFC technology, co-invented by NXP. The NXP Mobile Ticket App demonstrates ticket selection, over the air provisioning and location based travel information in 5 virtual destinations: London, Beijing, Moscow, Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro.

This application was developed for demonstration purposes only, it is not intended to be used on existing public transport schemes in above mentioned cities.
