This is a phone app only. It does two things and does them very well:

1. If you receive a phone call or a text and do not respond the phone will ring/vibrate as a reminder at the interval you specify (default is once/minute).

2. Quickly and easily silence the phone for anywhere from 5 minutes to 10 hours. At the end of the silence period, if you have had any calls or messages, the Nag feature will set in and let you know. Silencing the phone does NOT silence the alarm so you can turn off the phone at night and still count on the alarm going off in the morning.

I wrote this because I had an old Motorola dumb phone that would do that and I really missed that feature. I have walked out of the room for 1 or 2 minutes and missed a call that I didn't notice for hours. With this app that doesn't happen any more! AND I can quickly silence my phone for an hour when I walk in to a meeting and forget about it. The ringer will come back on and let me know if I missed any calls or messages.

The only thing you need to do after installing the app is open it once. You can change the settings if you want.

An icon will appear on the notification bar when Nag starts nagging. Simply select it to stop the Nagging. In most cases responding to the Message or Call will also stop the Nagging. Simply Unlocking the screen also turns off the nag.

It you are using Go SMS they have selfishly intercepted SMS messages at the highest priority level and there is a setting that does not pass the messages on to other applications so messaging may not work with this app. To fix Open Go SMS then go to Settings>Other Settings>Uncheck "Disable other message notifications". You can also try uninstalling it and installing it AFTER NAG. In some cases that will solve the problem. This issue should be resolved with later versions of Android.
