Network Tools uses a remote server to run Ping Tests, TCP Port Connectivity tests, and HTTP(s) Connectivity Tests all from your Windows Phone. This is because socket support in Mango does not support all the protocols used by Network Tools. Support for on-device testing maybe added in the future.

Network Tools also provides an interface for making a list of websites or servers you test frequently and gives a graphical display of their status for ping/port80/http response.

Trial version is fully functional and is simply ad supported, the paid version removes advertisements.
