The Chicago Jamat is excited to host the inaugural North American Ismaili Games. The Games will bring together the North American Jamat, both young and old, through sport, to showcase athletic excellence and cultural awareness in the true spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood, and to promote unity and fair play.

The games encourage the development of athletic skills, healthy lifestyles and friendly competition and provide a platform to engage the Jamat in voluntary and leadership activities through sports.

For generations, Ismailis around the world have come together to take part in sporting events; most recently the National Sports Tournament, Canadian Ismaili Games and Golden Jubilee Games. This year marks the first year of something new – uniting two countries under one games.
