The Ntercept mobile application, once triggered, makes a rescue call and simultaneously sends text messages to a designated SOS contact list. The SOS message will then be sent every two minutes with a distress message and the current location of the mobile user. The app also records the voice conversation at the site, which can be useful as evidence in any future investigations.
