Nubian Engineering 2nd place National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Regional Ten80 Overall Championship. On Friday, March 29, 2014 , Nubian Engineering traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to participate in the NASCAR Ten80 Student Racing Challenge. This event is a STEM initiative program that is a project- based learning program that challenges middle and high school students to optimize the performance of 1:10 scale radio controlled cars. Students mirror professional motor sports teams, specializing in projects from creative engineering and green transportation to business and graphic design. This is a wonderful program that encourages students to become future leaders in the field of engineering and technology.
