These carriers can charge US$15 per month or US$0.50 per message and sometimes even apply overage rates in order to text to an Iridium phone. Echo users do NOT need to activate international texting service on their smartphone to send texts. Instead, the Echo Unlimited provides unlimited texting for just $1.99 per month. Echo does not charge an overage fee. Echo users sending from a GO! do use Iridium airtime to send their messages.Subscription and Auto-RenewalYour Echo Unlimited monthly fee is $1.99 and provides unlimited messaging during this one month period. Thereafter, your subscription will auto-renew for $1.99 per month until such time as you terminate your auto-renewal through your iTunes account.
