From 23 March to 20 June 2011, the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais, Paris’s prestigious exhibition space, is hosting Odilon Redon, Prince of Dreams, the first Paris retrospective of the great Symbolist painter’s work since 1956. This innovative application will help you prepare your visit and accompany throughout the exhibition. A one-hour guided tour produced by Espro Acoustiguide in collaboration with Réunion des Musées Nationaux, it includes pictures of the works and audio commentaries enabling a richer understanding of the stylistic evolution of Odilon Redon’s work. It will lead you chronologically and thematically through the “Noirs”, lithographs and charcoals of Redon’s dark period, until the explosion of colour in his late pastels. Complementary visual and audio material enables you to explore subjects in more depth. You can navigate from work to work, by work number or using the interactive exhibition plan.
