Download this app to protect your legal rights! This app is designed to educate the public regarding their legal rights when being investigated for a criminal offense. It features the emergency “Oh Crap!” button designed to be used in emergency situations where a person is being stopped or questioned by law enforcement. Under the Educate Me section the user will find helpful information including rights education under Know Your Rights, an informational Blood Alcohol Calculator, Avoid a DUI, and Info by State. In the footer, the app gives the user quick access to Lawyers, Taxis and Bondsmen in their geographic proximity.Educate yourself regarding your legal rights under the Educate Me section. The Know Your Rights, Lawyer, Taxis and Bondsmen information provided by the app will differ based upon your geographic location at the time the app is activated as shown by your GPS coordinates. Every State has different laws so the goal of Oh Crap App is to provide you with the State-specific rights and best lawyer to contact in that region in your time of need.Press the large red “Oh Crap!” button when confronted with law enforcement and start the audio recording function. The recording is programed to run for 15 minutes (unless manually stopped earlier), stop automatically and upload to the Oh Crap App storage servers. This recording may then be accessed and saved to your case file by an attorney for use in your case. WARNING: Every time the recording button is activated, recording and uploading will begin, this may incur data charges from your wireless provided that YOU will be solely responsible for. After the recorder is activated, the App provides you with the basic legal advice of: Shut up; Wise up; Lawyer up, and gives you the on-call attorney number to contact for further assistance. ONLY use this function in the case of a true emergency, i.e., you are being stopped by the police and/or arrested.
