This is an OpenGTS Tracking Client, which sends location information to any configured Open GTS Server. Before using this app, please ensure Google Play Services is installed and Location Services is enabled on your phone.

Following are some of the key features which are available in this app:

- Time based daily start and end; Once timing is configured, Location information will be sent to OpenGTS Server only for the defined duration every day without any user intervention.

- Designed for low battery usage

- Service based architecture; will continue to send Location information even when app is closed/killed/paused/stopped.

- Service auto-starts on reboot; will continue to send location information, without any user intervention, upon device reboot

- Support for intermittent Data Connectivity; During Data Connection unavailability, location information will be stored locally and pushed to OpenGTS Server once connection is available

- Battery Level information sent to OpenGTS server

- Completely configurable – each and every aspect of client/server can be configured (refer to screenshots); AccountID/DeviceID can be configured only in Pro Version

- Sends data to your own OpenGTS server

Event data can be received within OpenGTS using the “gprmc” devices communication server (DCS) module that comes with the open-source OpenGTS package (downloadable from http://www.opengts.org).
