OpenPGP for Windows Phone enables you creating and reading encrypted messages following the OpenPGP standard RFC 4880.

OpenPGP for Windows Phone enables you to create RSA key pairs directly on your phone, thus solving the problem that many Windows Phones do not have an SD card slot for transferring your existing keys securely to your phone. Existing keys from your PC then can be imported as encrypted messages. If your mobile phone has an SD card slot, you can use it to import your existing keys directly bypassing the need for additional encryption.

OpenPGP for Windows Phone does not request network permissions. You decide which data are moved to the app and from the app. You can use the clipboard or files for that.

OpenPGP for Windows Phone registers itself as handler for files with the extension “.asc”, i.e. ASCII-armoured PGP messages. These files can be used to decipher files from your SkyDive or from e-mail attachments. Furthermore, these files can be used to import public keys of a contact or to import your own keys from another device.
