While he attended school as a young boy he spent most of his time scribbling in books. So after high school he went to Sint-Lukas University College of Art and Design in Brussels to study graphic design, but after two years he dropped out to focus on being a strip cartoonist. In this period he participated successfully in several competitions for strip cartoonists.Nevertheless a real breakthrough of his work did not follow so Frodo decided to concentrate on another passion of his, the guitar.He attended the Jazz Studio in Antwerp where he completed his studies easily and with great success. Meanwhile he has been giving classes in a lot of music academies for kids and adults. After years of non-activity as a strip cartoonist, he recently started drawing again, stimulated by his environment. the result of this revived passion is 'Otto'.
