PM Simulator is an iPad application for people who want to better understand or teach how a cardiac pacemaker interacts with cardiac rhythm. PM Simulator is an interactive real time EGG simulator that emulates normal and pathological heart rhythms and their interactions with a programmable cardiac pacemaker. On heart rhythm, you can:•adjust sinus rate, •simulate rate increase with physical activity, •add premature atrial contractions,•simulate atrial fibrillation,•add AV block or Wenckebach point•add premature ventricular contraction with adjustable retrograde conduction…Programmable cardiac pacemaker parameters include:•Pacing modes DDD, DDI, VDD, VVI or AAI•Basic rate and sensor rate with patient activity•Hysteresis rate•Maximum tracking and sensor rate•AV delays, hysteresis AV delay and rate responsive AV delays•A & V pacing output and sensitivity•Auto Mode Switch with atrial arrhythmia•PMT protection, AV crosstalk protectionePacemaker will emulate full or intermittent loss of capture, atrial or ventricular under sensing, pacemaker mediated tachycardia, AV crosstalk and ventricular safety pacing, inappropriate mode switching with VA crosstalk.PM Simulator could be used for trainings or to produce slides with freeze screens. Pacemaker markers will help to understand how the pacemaker interprets cardiac rhythm, they can be hidden.PM Simulator will not emulate a specific cardiac pacemaker, it emulates the main pacing modes with generic parameters.
