Professor Dr. Usman Ali Awheela was born on the 10th August 1957 and hails from Chori, Jaba Local Government of Kaduna State, Nigeria. He has many academic credentials to his credit which include West Africa School Certificate between 1972 to 1976 at Government Secondary School, Funtua, (now Government College, Funtua); Diploma in Accounting between 1985 to 1987 at Sussex College of Technology, Sussex, England; Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Management in the year 2000 at University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria; Masters Degree [MBA] in Accounting , 2002 at Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria; Ph.D in Accounting in 2006 at Irish University Business School, London . He graduated with Ed. Doctor in Higher Education at Charisma University in Philippines. In the United States, he had his DBA in Entrepreneurship and Business Management at California Intercontinental University, Diamond Bar, California, in December 2011 and subsequently completed his M.Sc. in Criminal Justice at Southwest University, Kenner, Louisiana in June, 2012 . Professor Awheela is a Professor of Forensic Accounting at Irish University Business School, London. He is also a Professor of Education Management at Charisma University in Philippines.
