A turn-based strategy game of factional politics and devious machinations.

In honour of 500 years of The Prince, by Niccolo Machiavelli, this game is now free.

In the kingdom of the Corvidae the Raven King is dying and the Parliament of Crows has gathered for the feast.

Tradition states, there may be no more than four and twenty Blackbirds present at court, during any season.

But if one faction can control the overall majority, of those that are present, then they will usurp the old king.

Use Slander, Blackmail, Bribery and Assassination to increase the support for your Faction; or to reduce the support for others.

Invoke Immunity to protect yourself, commit Foul Deeds to further your cause and collect evidence against the other Factions, to hinder their progress.

The game will end when one Faction gains control of the majority of the Blackbirds, currently at court.

If the total number of Blackbirds falls below 16, or the number of active factions falls below 4, then anarchy will prevail.

The game is for a single player, competing against three to five ruthless AI Factions.

• 3 Scenarios, allowing for 6,5 or 4 Factions

• Average game is 15 turns, 10-20 mins.

• Available actions limited by finances or evidence

• Managing the Loyalty of your supporters, and exploiting the disloyalty of others, is crucial to success

• Win the game in 8 turns or less to count yourself a true Machiavel
