Pattern Power provides typical patterns for users to pick and track US stocks. It also enables users to design their own patterns without having to write programs. In addition, it has a watchlist for users to further work on the technical or fundamental analysis on the stocks.

Pattern Power is composed of three parts: Typical Patterns, DIY Patterns and Watchlist.

A typical pattern is an indicator that may strengthen your belief on the continuation of the current trend. Particularly useful ones are those indicating the forming of a top or a bottom. By tapping on one of the patterns, the system will search for candidates that meet the pattern.

To DIY a pattern, the user can define the size and shape of one or multiple candlesticks, and combination of a trends line that pre cedes the candles. A trend line depicts the depth and length of an uptrend, downtrend, or flat-trend.

With the candidates, the user can put them on the track list to track the subsequent movement, including the profit and loss of these candidates since the days they were put on the track list.

The watchlist has been optimized for handheld screen sizes (in the past 15 years by Fonestock). Its intuitive usages and high speed streaming update facilitates users to perform quick cross referencing among stock quote, technical analysis, and fundamental analysis.
