This utility calculates US Federal Withholding, Social Security and Medicare taxes during calendar year 2015. It allows for setting the Social Security rate to zero after a maximum salary of $118,500 is reached. If federal withholding or tax rates change during 2015, an update will be released. This utility is simple to use and is designed as a personal "Pay Check" check and a small business payroll calculator. It can be used for both hourly and salary wages. Hourly wages should be entered as total for the pay period. State withholding tax can be added by the user along with other deductions but it is not calculated by the utility.
