It will take you through the history of a beer legend - Pilsner Urquell. It will reveal some of the covert episodes from the history of the Czech beer which gave the name to an entire beer category. The application can only be activated with a special beer coaster. Without the coaster, the application cannot be launched. You can find the coaster in selected restaurants and bars where Pilsner Urquell is on a tap.After focusing on the coaster, the magical world of mixed reality and animation will appear right on the display of your iPhone or iPad. The coaster will turn into a chronicle which uncovers the secrets of the good Pilsner beer in several chapters. You will, for example, find out how the true Pilsner beer came to being and what ingredients were used for it. The animation will show you how the brewmaster Josef Groll made the first batch of beer from the Pilsner water, the Czech malt, hops from Žatec and from special brewing yeast. The unique ingredients, along with the unrivalled recipe brought a legend into the world which has lasted to these days. You can, naturally, try it out for yourself, if you taste the real Pilsner beer after having seen the story.
