We hope that Planet Film™ for iOS will become the definitive user-sourced movie filming location database available. From the app you can search for your favourite movies, view where they were filmed, click through to StreetView to see the location in your browser (where available) or link through to IMDb to view more information about the movie.We really want you to upload your own movie locations to add to the Planet Film™ database, so that the app can expand and become more and more useful and interesting as time goes on. Simply drop a pin on the map at a location you know about, fill in some basic details like the name of the movie and some information about what was filmed there (the richer the data the better!), then add in a username for yourself and submit it. Once we've verified the location data, we may publish it in the next release of the app, complete with your credit.
