This is a universal remote control for Plex clients that allows you to control multiple Plex clients from an easy to use watch app. Plex remote allows you to control a range of Plex clients directly from your Smart Watch 2.

Compatible with Sony Smart Watch 2, and tested to work with Plex Home Theater, Plex Media Center, Plex for Android, Plex for IOS and Rasplex (a Plex client for the Raspberry Pi)

Features

Automatic client discovery

Navigate menus on the client and play media (up, down, left, right, back, select)

Play, Stop, Pause media that is playing

Control multiple clients (by selecting which client you wish to control)

Setup

Once installed the application will not appear as a standard app, you will find it in the 'installed applications' section within the Sony Smart Connect app.

Before using the remote you should configure the server address by selecting Plex Remote -> Server Address from within the Sony Smart Connect application. (you only need to set that once)

You can then launch the application on your Smart Watch 2, the app will automatically detect all plex clients connected to the server and select the first one it finds as the default

You can change Plex Client you are controlling by clicking and on the settings icon on the watch app - the app will remember your selection next time it loads.
