The late Dr. Eli Goldratt developed a business management methodology known as the Theory of Constraints (TOC). It is the primary focus of his first book, The Goal. It consists of both a set of tools, known as The Logical Thinking Process, and philosophy that postulates that organizations made up of humans like businesses, are limited by one "weakest link" at any moment in time.When I wrote my business leadership guide, Purple Curve Effect, Goldratt granted permission for me to include his now infamous P&Q; Example in my book. He used this example to explain the concept of business constraints to otherwise intelligent business managers. In fact, today I prefer the term Constraints Management Method over TOC.Just as a physical chain has "one weakest link" so too an organization. This PnQ Sim will document the law in a simple yet effective manner. This simulation is based on the P&Q; Example from my book.
