Recipe import/export functionality. Export your recipes via email and re-import them later or send them to your friends. You can also copy/paste recipes from your standard Windows Phone 7 email clients directly in to the App. There’s also a collection of importable beer recipes on pocketbrewer.com/recipes.

A recipe builder to create, store and email beer recipe. A database of commonly used hops, yeasts and grain is loaded to choose from in the recipe editor. Check out pocketbrewer.com for more details. This feature is great for building, editing and emailing grain recipes while you’re in the brew shop. You can import/export the recipes or download recipes from pocketbrewer.com or copy/paste. The recipe builder estimates Tinseth IBU of hop additions, specific gravity and GU. There’s a table of CO2 ranges by style for carbonation.

Easy unit conversions. Convert common things such as pressure (psi, kpa, bar, atm), gravity (SG and P), temperature(F and C), volume(US, UK and European units) and weight(US, UK and European).

There’s a scratch pad for making notes while you brew. It’s great for things like jotting down missing ingredients, notes for recipes or steps you don’t want to forget later when you’re not in the heat of the moment.

Tools for the most common calculations you need when home brewing beer. I tried to include everything I find myself running inside to calculate. Mash temperature and adjustment, boil off, decoction, strike temperatures, CO2 calculation, volume, hydrometer reading and alcohol content. Through the settings icon you can set the app to show the units in US, UK or European.
