All samples were recorded with using a genuine vintage Nahat Oud and Rode NT2 Condenser. All strings were accurately tuned to pitch before samples were recorded.

We also sought out the help of a professional Syrian oud master to get the most accurate results.

We also did the proper research to provide the tunings that the Real Oud Masters used themselves such as Farid El Attrache and Abdel Wehab. They are the actual tunings that they used to record the greatest Taqsims of all time! You can now listen and follow the way the masters play by tuning your oud with PocketOud!
