Primer Blast app teaches important and everyday use words and their spellings for around 500 words. This app is designed for 1st grade and 2nd grade kids.These 500 words are divided into 5 categories:3 Letter Words4 Letter Words5 Letter Words6 Letter Words7 & 8 Letter WordsAll the words are collected based on frequently used words for kids in Grade 1 and Grade 2.There are 6 main parts in this app.- Learn- Sound to Word Math- Missing Vowels- Missing Consonants- Spell Words - 1- Spell Words - 2LEARN: In this section, kids learn all the words in each category and learn to remember their spellings. MISSING VOWELS: This game is about drag and drop alphabets to make that word. Tests come from 5 sections; 3 letter words, 4 letter words, 5 letter words, 6 letter words, 7 & 8 letter words. In each test there are 10 words, with the vowels missing. Kids should know what vowel(s) finishes that word and then drag and drop that vowel. MISSING CONSONANTS: This game is just like Missing Vowels. Tests come from 5 sections; 3 letter words, 4 letter words, 5 letter words, 6 letter words, 7 & 8 letter words, with the Consonants missing this time. Kids should know what consonants are needed to finish that drag and drop those consonants at the right places.SPELLWORDS-1: This game is also like Missing Vowels and Missing Consonants. This time all the letters in word are missing. From sound prompt, kids need to figure out what word is it and then drag and drop all the letters in that word to finish it. Tests come from 5 sections; 3 letter words, 4 letter words, 5 letter words, 6 letter words, 7 & 8 letter words.SPELLWORDS-2: This is nothing but spelling test. Kids need to spell the word that is asked. To make it easier, kids can hear the audio prompt again and again to spell the word correctly. Tests come from 5 sections; 3 letter words, 4 letter words, 5 letter words, 6 letter words, 7 & 8 letter words.Report Card: Parents can review how much their kids have learned using this feature.
