Internet Safety with Professor Garfield - Fact or OpinionNermal is upset when he receives an “F” on his report about goats. Garfield looks at the report and finds that Nermal has included facts but also opinions. Nermal reveals that he found the information on a website and wonders how he is supposed to know what’s true and what isn’t. Enter Dr. Nova and Professor G. Dr. Nova explains that there’s a great deal of good information on the Internet but that there’s also a great deal of mis- information. Some online information can even be described as hateful. She helps Nermal learn the difference between facts and opinions (with a little assistance from the Fact-Bot) and stresses that it’s important to read with a questioning mind.Included with the story, an interactive "Try" and "Apply" section are included to help users gain insight to the problem.
