The “Proximity-WiFi” application does multiple searches looking for businesses and libraries that are known to provide WiFi hotspots for their patrons.

Using the location services of your device, the application will find your location and conduct the search within that proximity. If you pan the map to another location, the application will search in the proximity of the center of the map. If you are on the move the application will follow and refresh the search.

If you tap one of the locations on the map, the name will be displayed. If you then tap the name, the application will launch the Windows Phone map application and display the route from your location to the item you tapped.
