Ease of Use

This app is simple to use. All common functions are controlled with your Volume Up and Volume Down buttons.

Listen - Run the app with a WiFi connection active.

Talk - Set the mode to Normal, and press either the Volume Up or Volume Down button.

Set the Volume - Set the mode to Volume, then use your Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to reach the desired level.

Change the Channel - Set the mode to Channel, then use your Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to reach the desired channel.

Permissions Outline

This app will ask you for a number of permissions. Following are descriptions of each.

Access Network State. Used to verify that WiFi is connected before communicating.

Access WiFi State. To retrieve the Broadcast Address for the current LAN.

Internet. To send and receive communications on the network.

Modify Audio Settings. To modify volume settings and play received messages.

Record Audio. To send audio messages.

Wake Lock. To keep listening for messages while screen is sleeping.
