R. Noone and Son Ltd, affectionately known as 'Noones' began life in the late 1960's as a fruit and vegetable stall on Heywood Market with our current MD Mike's mum Rose at the helm. Mike grew the business into a chain of bustling shops across the Manchester region until the late 90's when the arrival of the supermarkets changed the face of the British high street.

Starting afresh as suppliers to the catering industry, Mike and Maggie Noone have since tended the business with love and hard work and slowly but surely cultivated a company which still manages to remain small enough to care, yet big enough to cope with varied and demanding projects.

Things have never been as exciting in the food industry; increasingly our customers are aware of exactly what they want, from a specific variety of locally grown produce to rare and elusive ingredients from the far flung corners of the globe and with our experienced buying team forging links across the UK and Europe we are able to meet demands and provide fantastic produce with total confidence.

Our Customers are our focus and drive us to maintain the highest of standards. We constantly review our procedures and have held the BRC accreditation for over five years allowing us to offer our clients security in the knowledge that our products and procedures are fully traceable. Visits to our premises can be arranged through Maggie giving our clients the chance to observe our operation during a working day.
