Ross Shor Lynch (born December 29, 1995) is an American television actor, singer, dancer, and musician. He is one of the founding members of the band R5, formed with his brothers Riker and Rocky, sister Rydel, and family friend/drummer Ellington Ratliff. He is best known for his debut role as Austin Moon on the Disney Channel original series Austin & Ally. In July 2013, he starred as Brady in the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach Movie.

Ross Lynch was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, the second youngest of five siblings (Riker, sister Rydel, Rocky and youngest Ryland). He was educated at home from the fourth grade. He learned to play guitar and piano and to sing. He is also a cousin of Derek and Julianne Hough. Lynch and his family moved to Los Angeles, California, in 2007 to allow eldest brother Riker to pursue his dreams in the entertainment business.

R5 is an American pop rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2009, the band consists of: Ross Lynch (of Disney Channel's Austin & Ally), Riker Lynch (of FOX's hit tv-show Glee), Rocky Lynch, Rydel Lynch, and Ellington Ratliff. In March 2010, they self-released an EP, Ready Set Rock
