The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded in 1952 in Nigeria, following a divine revelation received by a young man whose heart had been set ablaze with an unquenchable desire to personally encounter the Supreme Being, in spite of a prevailing environment of nature worship. Seeking a fervent relationship with the God he still knew little about at the time, Reverend Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi was fired by the intuition that there was a greater power than those commonly known to his people. This pursuit of God led him to the Church Missionary Society where he was baptised in 1927.

In July 2011, Pastor Deji Abioye and his ever supportive wife, Anita Abioye entered into a covenant with God on behalf of their family that if God can meet a particular need in their family they will plant a parish for Him. Surprisingly, the need was met before the end of that month. Hence the parish was birthed in December 2012. It started as a house fellowship on 14th December 2012 with 6 adults and 7 Children. We had the first Sunday service on the 3rd February 2013, with 8 adults and 7 children in attendance. The parish was inaugurated on the 28th April, 2013 by our Father in the Lord Pastor Ademuyiwa Karunwi of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Greener Pastures Assembly, New York. United States. Our mandate is to preach the undiluted word of God, restore back the backsliders, give hope to the hopeless, transform the land of Aylesbury and at the end of the race we all make it to heaven. To achieve all the above mentioned we will make Holiness our life-style, we will also make accountability, transparency and team work our way of life.
