This app displays all of the news, forecast, intelligence, and fuels products related to wildland fire for a five-state region: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming. The outlooks and forecasts provided were created by the Rocky Mountains Area Predictive Services (RMAPS) program located at the Rocky Mountain Area Coordination Center (RMACC) in Colorado and are updated daily during fire season (generally from May 1st through September 30th). Our goal is to provide decision support information needed for anticipating significant fire activity and determining proactive resource allocation needs. Although our products are created with fire managers and wildland firefighters in mind, we encourage all to enjoy the functionality of this app.
