Riyad-us-Saliheen or Riyadh as Saliheen (The Gardens of the Righteous) is a compilation of verses from the Holy Qur'aan and hadith by Imam Abu Zakaria al-Nawawi (1233–1277). He was the great scholar of Hadith and Fiqh of his time. This book is very popular and contains useful compilation of authentic ahadith from 'Al-kutub al-sittah' or 'the authentic six books' (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, An-Nisai and Ibn Majah).
