Race predictor uses a Ward Systems neural network to help predict the most likely winner in a horse race.
Trained using backpropagation the network was presented with over 1.1 million 2 horse races along with the actual results. The network is then trained to recognise even very slight relationships between the input race data and the output result.
Once trained the network is able to generalise the output result from new input data.
