Priyesh Vakil born and brought up in a family with a musical heritage taught by his father Shri Narendra Vakil, a well renowned percussionist. He started learning Tabla at a very young age and later developed a keen interest in Drums along with other percussive instruments & keyboards for which he received many accolades from his enchanting performances.

His career in the film industry started for the famous music director duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. Since then he has been arranging music for many famous music directors and has been with Himesh Reshammiya since 1996. His name can be seen in the inlays most of Himesh Reshammiyaís music albums.

Apart from his vast experience in the film industry, he is also the creator of the group 'Priyesh Vakil & his Beats' which has performed through out the length and breadth of the country.
