This is a superb high quality meditation app created for teenagers by leading yoga teacher and Montessori teacher Christiane Kerr. The relaxation techniques and visualisations are suitable for teenagers, but can be effective for ages nine years and upwards. The audio is created to promote a sense of calm and wellbeing. The simple yoga nidra and relaxation exercises help the listener deal with stress.

Christiane Kerr founded Calm For Kids in 1999. She has has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 15 years. She is also an is an experienced Montessori teacher. Her work has been featured in the national press and on television. Christiane runs classes for some of London’s leading yoga studios and teaches in schools from nursery to secondary level. She currently runs adult courses and children’s workshops in West London where she lives with her children. These lovely meditations can be enjoyed by adults too especially where relaxation and visualization can enhance an overall feeling of well-being.

"I bought this for my thirteen year old Grandson who suffers from anxiety and it has made such a difference to him. I also bought a couple of Christiane Kerr's other meditation titles for him and they are all brilliant. He listens to them for half an hour each night and is asleep before the end. I listen to them myself and do not find them remotely childish or patronising. Christiane Kerr comes across with a no nonsense attitude but at the same time she has a very 'Comfortable' voice that is compelling and relaxing. I could not recommend this more, and I have now bought two of the 'Rays of Calm' so that I no longer have to share it with my Grandson!"

"I have in the past been very sceptical about meditation but I gave this a listen after being recommended it by a friend.
