In the year 2153, an alien race attacked and destroyed the science station on Jupiter's moon Io. It was soon discovered that the aliens had constructed numerous bases inside the larger asteroids. All attempts to communicate with the aliens had failed. It was decided that we would send one ship, an advanced fighter craft, to the asteroid belt to destroy the alien bases. You volunteered to take on what might well be a suicide mission. You and your ship will be teleported to the first known base. You must make your way to the self-destruct switch, activate it, and return to the teleporter which will take you to the next base. Rebound is a game that harkens back to the days of the video arcade. It's easy to play but hard to win. The object of the game is to destroy as many enemies as possible, activate the self-destruct switch, then make it back to the transporter gate. You score points by destroying the numerous enemies. You can score bonus by bouncing your shot off obstacles in the level--hence the name "Rebound". The more rebounds you make, the higher the bonus. There are an unlimited number of levels for endless game play.
