RingRTC Beta is web based application which lets users access the android addressbook, callhistory and text messages from the browser.

Functionality:

- Search, add, delete and modify contacts from the address book

- Preview call logs

- Send and receive text messages (SMS)

- Start and receive calls

- Call notification for incoming and outgoing calls

- File Transfer to and from android device

- Contacts export to CSV file

- Call notes

Users can do all this using the browser based RingRTC user interface.

IMPORTANT: Users need to install and android RingRTC application and enter their username/password in order for the web app to function. The android and web applications communicate directly and securely using an encrypted, peer-to-peer data channel. This makes sure the data is not stored on a server but sent directly between devices.

RingRTC is not a replacement for the phone but a convenient client which makes using the phone easier. All communication like calls and text messages is a function of the actual android device.
