The River Street Cafe, located on East Front Street in Marietta, PA, is known for its good homemade pub grub but also for stretching the boundaries of what constitutes typical “bar food.” Appetizers go well beyond wings, nachos and fries to include such unique takes as sweet Vietnamese clams, fresh-cut spiral chips, fried pickles, southwest rolls and Guinness Beer cheese. Our homemade soups come served in bread bowls while our freshly made salads are not only available with chicken, steak or seafood but also in a wide variety of preparations. Our sandwich board includes the requisite burgers and cheesesteaks, of course, but also features the more unusual Bayou sausage, Hawaiian ham loaf, chicken kabob and breakfast sandwich with seasoned potato cakes. Seafood entrees include three versions of shrimp, crab cakes and Alaskan crab legs. Vegetarian options available. Desserts are highlighted by crème brulee and a rotating cheesecake of the month. Daily food and drink specials (some all day) and weekdays offer ½ price appetizers 3-5PM. Not content to confine Happy Hour to a single event, River Street Café provides the traditional HH Monday-Friday 5-7PM, then celebrates “Second Shift Happy Hour” Monday-Thursday 11PM-Midnight.
