Have you ever wanted to just write an equation for the dice rolls that you do in games?

Let's say that you needed to roll eight four-sided die, add one to each roll, and then add that to the rolls of three six-sided die. An equation for that could easily be written as 8d4 + 8 + 3d6, and it should be easy and quick to be able to have a program understand that, and interpret it.

That's exactly what Roll It! does.

There are, of course, other useful features. You can name your equations, and it will remember them so you can pull it up later really quickly. So, for example, if the above equation is some magic attack that you use a lot in a game, you can give it a name by entering in, "Magic Attack: 8d4 + 8 + 3d6", and then be able to just pull it up quickly later instead of having to re-enter the entire thing. You can even put together multiple equations to be run sequentially. So, for example, your magic attack allows you to use it again on another opponent, but with fewer die (say four four-sided die instead), the magic attack could then be written as, "Magic Attack: 4d4 + 4 + 3d6".

It also has a feature called separated rolls. Let's say, for example, you need to roll four six-sided die and add ten to the total, but you need to do that five times. In Roll It!, you can write it like this, "{5x4d6} + 10" and it will give you the results for each of those five rolls.

It supports the basics operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and order of operations.
