Ruler is an App that allows you to use your smart phone as a ruler, tape measure, and odometer. Press the Show button to show the current latitude and longitude of your location. Then press the Start button to store the location as your starting location. Then go to your destination and press the Show button. Then press the Destination button to store the location and calculations for km, miles, yards, feet and inches are calculated and displayed immediately.

Note: If your start location and your destination locations are very close, you may have to press the Show button a few times before the location numbers "settle down" to display consistently.

The program is terrific for showing exact miles traveled, or yards walked to your golf ball, or feet between boundaries of your property. Dimensions of a room can be obtained accurately if you press the show button a few times to make sure the location numbers are not changing, or not changing very much.
