Run Interval Timer is a simple, easy to use, interval timer for runners of all levels who use the run/walk method. With its simple interface you can set your times quickly, press START and you're ready to go! Run Interval Timer will automatically notify you when its time to start running or start walking with voice and vibrator notifications. It also lets you know how much time remains in your workout. This eliminates the hassle of constantly looking at a watch or timer and lets you enjoy your workout while listening to music and/or logging your run with a GPS program.
When the app first opens you will see three slider bars. Moving these left or right will set your run, walk, and total time. Once these are set, simply press start and get ready to enjoy your workout.
To access preferences, press the menu button, then the preference tab.
Once you are in the preference pane you can:
-Turn on/off voice notifications
-Tun on/off vibrator notifications
- Choose whether to run or walk first
To hide the app but keep it running in the background press the home button.
To quit the app and stop it from running:
- Press the back button twice
or
- Press the menu button and then press the "Stop Timer and Quit" tab
-The vibrator is only used when notifying you to start running or walking.
- If you take a call while using Run Interval Timer, it will only notify you with the vibrator. This way your call will not be interrupted.
-Run/Walk notifications will mute your music temporarily when speaking to you.
-Time Remaining Notifications will notify you, on the 10s and on the last 5, as to how many minutes remain in you workout. It will also temporarily mute your music.
