SCOLA receives and retransmits foreign TV programming from more than 115 countries and also provides other language learning resources through different subscription services. SCOLA resources are used by K-12 schools, universities and colleges government organizations, and individual language learners to build language skills, increase cultural knowledge and develop a broader worldview.

SCOLA's mission is to help the people of the world learn about one another; their cultures, their languages and their ideologies. SCOLA emphasizes the importance and effectiveness of modern information technology as a tool in overcoming barriers to global understanding and will remain at the forefront of its application.
