This game, Narcotics Run, is an attempt to take a more light-hearted look at the pertinent issue of drug abuse from an observer's standpoint, as this game chronicles the protagonist's, Ivan, attempt at evading narcotics and to continue leading a healthy lifestyle.

This game concept is admittedly not new, in fact 2D 'chase' games have been around for a long while, and more outstanding ones such as 'Subway Surfers' and 'Temple Run' served as our inspiration while creating our game. However, what is refreshing about our game is that it has both power-ups as well as obstacles (the narcotics in the game itself) which are unique, representative and sometimes eerily similar to their actual effects, both benevolent and malevolent.

The game revolves around the evasion of the narcotics littering the road which the protagonist is running on, while being on the run from the drug dealers pursuing him. It serves to represent the temptation many of us will encounter in our lives to try drugs, be it from 'friends' or from circumstances, such as stress or emotional trauma.
