SMS GPS Receiver is a mapping program that is designed to read specific sms messages that are received and plot sent GPS coordinates from a tracking cell phone.
On one cell phone the app SMS GPS Transmitter is installed that periodically sends SMS messages containing GPS coordinates to the cell phone that has the SMS GPS Receiver installed. This allows the receiving app to track the transmitter via sms messages.
The Receiver can track a maximum of four different phones via the SMS messages that are sent to it. All coordinates are plotted onto google maps and a line drawn showing the transmitter phones location at different points in time.
The whole setup can be used to track dogs during hunting (Each dog has a small cheap android attached to a collar each with the SMS GPS Transmitter app installed.) All SMS messages are sent to the Receiving phone that will map each dogs location using satellite maps or topo maps.
The Receiver also allows the user to remotely control the transmitting apps.
