Safe Numbers - Allows you to define which phone numbers the app will respond to with a location.
Challenge phrase - The phrase you must use in the SMS message for the app to recognise it requires a response.
Password Protection - Prevent easy tampering with the app settings.
No accounts, no websites, no fees. 1 single SMS message to the phone and it will respond with a Google Maps link highlighting the phones current location.
The SMS can be sent from any device and does not need to be an Android phone, it will work with iPhone, BlackBerry and any other make of phone.
Ensure the device being located has some form of location services enabled.
Permissions Explained:
Fine/Coarse location - required to locate device.
Receive/Send SMS - required to detect challenge phrase in incoming messages and then respond with a location.
